The Country-Chic Ensuite

This beautiful ensuite was built in a small, awkward space. It lacked light and it felt small due to the large vanity and framed shower screen. The goal was to make the bathroom feel larger, brighter and inviting. The wall hung vanity immediately helped to give an illusion of more space to the room and the timber added a complimentary warmth to the cooler tones in the room. The beautiful basin is a large basin, however it it less intrusive due to it being inset into the gorgeous stone vanity bench top.

The choice of light marble-look tiles and white walls instantly allowed the small amount of natural light to bounce around the room. The black tapware and shower screen really added the drama to the room and the results were very pleasing.

The old school charm mixed with the modern aspects in the room really work well together. Overall this is a gorgeous little bathroom that feels so much bigger and far more inviting! My clients were so happy they asked me to do the larger family bathroom in the same home using the same colour scheme.
